Empowerment Education Training Modules on CDrom

The Developmental Disabilities Institute is proud to now offer several of our Empowerment Education Training Modules in digital, CDROM format.  The availability of these training modules on CDROM offers participants an alternative to the traditional, group-training format that Empowerment Education Training has been offered in for over 10 years.  The new format is intended to be implimented on an individual basis and can be viewed on most standard computer platforms.

Currently, there are three CDROMs available.  The first two discs each contain two training modules, while the third disc contains only one module.  Training modules currently available on CDROM are listed below:

CDROM #1:Person Centered Planning Slide Shot

CDROM #2:

CDROM #3:

  • Direct Support Professionals: Your Career Opportunity (Available Soon!)

The third CDROM contains a new training module which is intended to be used as a recruiting and informational tool.  It outlines the possibilities and opportunities that exist in the field of direct care.
